Common Questions

Do I need to wear full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to attend training?

Yes, full PPE is mandatory for all training courses. All participants are required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure safety and compliance with training requirements.

Verification of Competency (VOC) is conducted for individuals who already hold a current ticket, licence, or unit of competency. It confirms that they can perform tasks to the required standard before being mobilised to site.

The assessment aligns with the relevant Nationally Recognised Unit of Competency to ensure skills and knowledge are current and meet industry requirements.

VOC is typically valid for 12 months (one year), after which re-verification may be required depending on site or employer requirements.

Verification of Competency (VOC) is generally site-specific and employer specific. It is conducted to confirm that an individual meets the competency requirements for a particular worksite or organisation, based on their specific procedures, equipment, and risk controls.

If you do not pass your High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL) assessment, you may be eligible for a reassessment.

You can undertake a reassessment (re-sitting only the components you did not pass, either theory or practical) within 60 days of your initial assessment date.

After the 60-day period, a full reassessment covering both theory and practical components will be required, and the full course fee will apply.
