RIIWHS202E – Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
- In-person
- On-site
Course Overview
The RIIWHS202E – Enter and work in confined spaces unit provides the skills and knowledge required to safely enter, work in, and exit confined spaces. This nationally recognised course is essential for workers in construction, mining, energy, utilities, and maintenance sectors where tasks may occur in tanks, pits, tunnels, pipes, silos or shafts.
Confined space work presents serious risks, including atmospheric hazards, engulfment, and restricted access. This course ensures workers can identify these risks, use appropriate permits, gas detection equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE) to stay safe.
Training is delivered face-to-face at our Belmont training facility, or onsite for groups with compliant equipment. It includes both theory and hands-on practice in realistic confined space scenarios.
