CPCCLSF4001 – Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding advanced level – Scaffolding Advanced
- In-person
- On-site
Course Overview
Ready to take your scaffolding skills to the highest level? The CPCCLSF4001 – Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding advanced level course qualifies you to build and manage complex scaffold structures, including suspended scaffolds and cantilevered platforms, often used in shutdowns, large-scale infrastructure, and multi-storey developments.
This is the final stage in the scaffolding licence pathway and is required for scaffolders working on high-risk, load-bearing or engineered access systems.
Delivered face-to-face at our Belmont training facility, this advanced scaffolding course is taught by experienced industry professionals and assessed by a WorkSafe WA licensed Assessor. If you’re looking to expand your capabilities and move into supervisory or specialised scaffold roles, this course is for you.

Course Details
This course complies with the National Assessment Instrument (NAI) for high-risk work and meets the licensing requirements for Advanced Scaffolding (SA Class) under WorkSafe WA.
You’ll take part in both theoretical instruction and advanced practical builds using real scaffold gear and elevated systems in a simulated site environment.
Key training areas include:
Planning and preparing advanced scaffolding work:
Interpret engineered drawings and lift plans for suspended and cantilevered scaffolds.
Erecting, altering, and dismantling advanced scaffolds:
Includes hung scaffolds, cantilevered platforms, and scaffold structures used in confined or restricted spaces.
Advanced hazard identification and risk control:
Assess environmental conditions, structural stability, and worker safety in high-risk scenarios.
Scaffold inspection and fault reporting:
Learn to carry out advanced inspections and manage compliance documentation.
Team leadership and communication:
Coordinate scaffold teams on large projects and manage access for multiple trades.
Assessment includes both written and practical components and must be completed under the supervision of a WorkSafe WA licensed Assessor.
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Assessment Requirement
To ensure prospective students have the necessary LLN skills to successfully undertake their chosen training, it is a mandatory requirement to complete an LLN assessment prior to booking confirmation.
