MSMSS00020 – Operate a vacuum loading system
- On-site
Course Overview
The MSMSS00020 – Operate a vacuum loading system skill set is designed for workers who operate vacuum loading equipment to remove sludge, liquids, slurries, or dry materials from tanks, pits, drains, and other industrial containment systems.
This nationally recognised course provides the practical and safety skills required to work as a vac truck operator or offsider across shutdowns, mining, oil and gas, construction, and civil maintenance environments. It is essential for personnel using vacuum loading systems in Class B pressure operations, especially where permit-controlled entry, confined spaces, or hazardous substances are involved.
Training is delivered on-site for employer groups with compliant equipment. This course includes both hands-on operation and compliance-based learning, aligned with AS/NZS 4233.1:2013 and industry best practice.
